Opera Singers - Identify the classification of actors according to their portrayal

 

The opera tradition is categorized as follows based on on-stage performances and vocal priorities. Namely, 

• L                 LEADING ROLE
• F                 FEATURE ROLE
• S                 SUPPORTING ROLE
• B                 SOLO BIT
• CB              CHORUS BIT
• MB             MUTE BIT 

 LEADING ROLE

That is a protagonist in which all the characters in the opera are spread out and all the verbs come together. That main character could be the hero or the villain. The character has an important place in the development of the story, the culmination. The lead role is played by a responsible person who has mastered the experience of having the greatest singing and acting ability in the opera.

FEATURE ROLE 

After the main character, there are charismatic actors who play a special priority role. Does not dominate as much as the main character (LEADING ROLE). Nor does it focus on the main plot of the opera. Requires an outstanding character as well as a general quality voice and exceptional acting ability. These actors need important aria, or duets, a significant amount of chorus, and special acting skills. They run throughout a scene or an act.

SUPPORTING ROLE

Contributing to singing and playing in an opera is the intermediate sub-characterization that nourishes and sustains the main plot. A significant number of these characters have to sing in group choirs and have to perform special roles as well. They will sometimes have to sing Aria, two-person songs, and so on.

SOLO BIT ROLE

A short character. A minor character who is not directly involved in the main plot of the opera. Must be a solo singer in at least 24 musical bars or measures. Sometimes there are 24 exams, but if they are standardized as single vocal numbers, they become a solo bit. If there is no chorus in an opera (chorus), such characters have to be taken over by solo singers, and the solo bit is sung by a soloist if there is no one in the chorus who can sing the created range.

CHORUS BIT ROLE

A short character performed by a chorister is called a chorus rolles. It usually takes no more than 23 exams. This includes occasions when the rest of the chorus sings a chorus bit role while the opera lyrics are sung, with other chords being sung in between.

MUTE BIT 

These are called silent short characters that are not usually sung by a member of the chorus or an additional singer. They can be gestures or acting. In the composition of the opera composition, it is seen that a certain name has been reserved for that character.
